How our oil is made.

Step I · Gathered

Ripe argan fruit is gathered by hand.

Step II · Dried

The fruit is left to dry, then the pulp is removed to reveal a very hard nut.

Step III · Cracked

Each nut is cracked open by hand, traditionally between two stones, to free the kernels inside.

Step IV · Pressed

The kernels are cold-pressed, which protects the oil’s nutrients.

Step V · Bottled

The oil is bottled pure: 100% organic, with no fragrance, chemicals or dyes.

The tree

A tree of the Souss.

The argan tree is native to the dry southwest of Morocco. Its slender, leathery leaves help it endure the heat and drought of its home.

Each olive-sized fruit holds a very hard nut, and each nut one to three almond-shaped kernels. Those kernels alone are cold-pressed into our oil.
